Nica Sutch

Hi, my name is Nica. There aren't many people that get to make a living from their passion, but I do. My dream became reality in May of 1990 with the opening of 4-Star Athletic Complex. Since then, I have coached gymnasts from level four through ten onto the State, Regional, and National Championships as well as many collegiate cheerleaders. My mission at 4-Star is to allow every child the opportunity of making fitness a part of their life. I have judged levels 4-9 throughout the United States from 1990-2004. I am soon to begin judging again. I am a member of the Maryland State Board of Gymnastics. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Business and Marketing. One of my favorite goals is to produce great athletes for Penn State. I receive tremendous support from my four children- Julia, Jimmy, Joey, and Caleb. Sandi VanCleave

Hi, my name is Sandi. I have been coaching at 4-Star for eleven years. I am married to John and I have two children, Cory and Lia. Cory is 23 and Lia is 20. My favorite color is purple, and my favorite food is chocolate! My favorite gift is money, and I love beam the best out of all the events. My favorite gym sayings are, "Here is my thought," and "Do it again!"

 

 

Michael Brito

Hi, my name is Michael Brito. I am new to Hagerstown and I am very happy to be a member of the 4-Star family. My interest in Gymnastics came at an early age beginning with martial arts and break-dancing. This continued into my college years as a member of the University of Maryland's Gymkana Exhibitional Gymnastics Troupe. I was a pre-school teacher in Montgomery County Maryland and Pinellas County Florida. I now work as a full time Maryland state employee at the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. My hobbies include traveling, dancing, cooking, eating, camping, biking, fishing, hiking, and swimming. I love learning languages and meeting new people. My mother is from Peru and my father is from Portugal. I was born and raised in Takoma Park, MD. Deanna Kline

Deanna Kline is my name and gymnastics is my game! I have been flipping since I was four and now that I am a coach I will continue to soar! I have fun every time I am here at 4-Star and life with gymnastics fills me with cheer! If you are in for a good time, join one of my many classes! I have a fabulous husband Jamie, and a great daughter Margaret! Margaret Jane is currently a Level 5 gymnast here at 4-Star.

 

Don Talley

Hi, my name is Don. I am a native of Albany, Georgia, but I currently reside in Winchester, VA. I am a graduate of T.U., and I have a degree in architechtural design. I am currently a teacher's assistant at John Hanley High School. I have been married for 16 years and I have two daughters: Sylvia and Olivia. I have been coaching gymnastics for 15+ years. My hobbies include crafting, sewing, and puzzles.

Caileigh Oliver

Hello, my name is Caileigh Oliver. This September will start my 15th year as a gymnast here at 4-Star. I will be competing Level 8 this year. I have won All Around Champion at many competitions. My favorite events are floor and vault! I will be a sophomore this year. I like to read and write and spend time with my family and friends. My younger sister Emily is also a Level 8 gymnast here at 4-Star!

Natalija Kreller

My name is Natalija. I have been coaching at 4-Star for three years. I am from Russia and I was involved in gymnastics all my life. Gymnastics is everything to me and it is a part of me. My heart belongs to my sport! I love teaching the girls and I have a lot of fun with them. I have one daughter, Alona. She is currently enrolled as a Level 4 in 4-Star's competitive team program!

Alicia Perez

Hey, I am Alicia. I am a nursing student at Shepherd University with only one year remaining! I was 1998 Level 9 State Champion and National Silver medalist. I have been involved at 4-Star since I was 10 years old. I have also been coaching since 2000. The kids say that I am their favorite conditioning coach... wink. Beam is my favorite even to coach. I have four older brothers, and I reside in West Virginia. I hate the cold, but I love to dance!! I love my job in every way!

Mike Heinlein

Hi, I am Mr. Mike. I have a daughter, Leanne that was a competitive gymnast for 4-Star. I love to work hard with all children here at 4-Star. We have a lot of fun. I am an E.M.T. and I work a lot of other jobs too. My favorite things are hugs, hugs, and more hugs! If you need a private lesson, come to me! I am the best tumbling coach, ever.
